Intro

Early Country Artists Vol. 8 includes some of the 1st great
recorded American Country Artists.
Recorded in the mid 1920’s these artists were from the
Carolinas and Georgia regions in the U.S.
The country music genre became popular when the
recording executives realized that there was a vast
profitable music market that was untapped.
Most of these recordings were recorded with microphones
so that the recorded sound is very faithful to the original groups.
This music is authentic, genuine and exciting.

Represented in Volume 8 are
Riley Puckett, Bob Nichols and Hugh Cross

All recordings are from the original source material
and digitally re-mastered to reduce surface noise.

Roll up the rug and enjoy this great Vintage Country.
