Weber & Fields and Avon Comedy 4.

Their major recorded output is preserved in this release.

Both teams were very popular in their time.
They were also considered to be the best in their field.
Their act consisted of each one telling stories or reenacting comic scenes or popular songs on the vaudeville stage.
 Joe Weber and Lew Fields performed their skits in outrageous costumes and were very famous for their characters Mike & Meyer.
The Avon Comedy 4 did a combination of songs and comics scenes and consisted of

Irving Kaufman - Harry Godwin – Charles Dale and  Joe Smith.
